The youth are the backbone of the society & our country Somalia is one of the most countries for their youth unemployment.
Estimated aged 17–25 unemployed While young people represent the majority in Somali society. 75 percent of the population are under 35 years old.
Youth Empowerment is one of the main obligations of the government that are required to support the young generation in the country.
In our country Somalia has one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world at a staggering 67 percent among 17–25-year-olds.
Some reports said that 40 percent of Somali youths are actively looking for work.
Only the government particularly Ministry of Youth and Sport (MOYS) can carry any responsibility to reduce unemployment also the poverty facing the under 30 35 years old people, soft skills training for can play a great role for seeking a job, such as how to write a CV, conduct a successful interview, and engage in problem-solving and networking.
As the whole world is equal to unemployment especially in our country the youth are victims of unemployment, after Covid19 the country has become one of unemployment for the youth
